Alan Steelman intensifies his passion of bringing good news to those who are seeking to restore emotional and physical balance in their lives. He has developed an exciting new podcast called Exiting the A.S.A.P. Lane with Alan, giving powerful, funny, and practical insights on HOW TO ESCAPE THE CLUTCHES OF YOUR OWN FALSE WIZARDS.
A former U.S. Congressman (R-Tex) and a Global Business Consultant, Alan has lived the life of the proverbial “road warrior” throughout two highly stressful careers for approximately 40 years. His career in politics was marked with distinction, being the youngest member of the U. S. Congress, and was praised by several major media venues. Alan has also worked with many world leaders and over 1,000 CEOs of top global companies.
Because of his immense exposure to stress for many years, Alan sought for ways to fight stress. It was until he discovered the healing magic in yoga and meditation, where he truly understood the importance of both mind and body fitness.
In his mission to address the single greatest mental health challenge facing the U.S. and the developed world, Alan brings powerful insights on his podcast show, teaching people how to break free from the A. S. A. P. Lane, and thereby help choose the right path. A. S. A. P. stands for Anxiety, Stress, Addiction, and Pressure.
Also a certified yoga instructor, Alan is the author of the recently published book, Yoga on the Yellow Brick Road. His book is targeted on those still full of hope and dreams, but, being buffeted by the gales of economic and social change and who desperately are seeking tools to help them cope and self-regulate their own lives and respond to this rapidly changing landscape.
