It has been said that less successful people read to get entertained, but successful people are the ones who read and take actions on what they are reading. Many successful people with the likes of Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, and Oprah Winfrey devote and make time to read.
That is their secret to success!
This is also seemingly true with Jochen Siepmann, an entrepreneur, an investor, a trainer, a mentor, a public speaker, and the author of Property Apprentice: How to Earn While You Learn.
In an interview with The CEO Library, Jochen shared the significance of how reading a book and taking action are the keys for him to succeed especially in property industry.
The CEO Library was built at the intersection of our long-lasting relationship with reading, and our strong desire to know what books influenced the people we admire. It gathers in a single place all the books that shaped the journey of business people we look up to.
In the insightful interview, Jochen also revealed the books he read that helped him change his mindset and had him started earning his passive income and be financially FREE; he also shared the actions he took, the common mistakes he believes entrepreneurs make, and myths when it comes to property investing.
The following are the books that he considers to have impacted his journey to property investing:
- Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
- Money, Master the Game by Anthony Robbins
- Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker
- The Property Apprentice by Jochen Siepmann
- Property Magic by Simon Zutschi
Being inspired with what he read, Jochen further enthuses, “While most people seem to find excuses (which they call “reasons”) why something doesn’t work for them, I am an action taker, and I learn, try out, practice, improve, and get better. This way, as Robert (Kiyosaki) has described, I changed my mind set, took action, and over some time have built up a sizeable property portfolio that is giving me enough passive income to become financially free.”
