Gone are the days of a slick suit, a fancy canned presentation and 21 closing tricks to close sales. Forget about glitz, high pressure tactics and a smooth tongue. No, the person who wants to win at selling today must innovate.
By that, I mean that must come up with new methods to attract prospects. The old methods just don’t seem to work today. You must discover, invent and use new methods to become a magnet for people who will buy your product or service.
If you really want to win, and I guess you do if you’ve read this far into this article, you must try new things.
Here’s a new concept: LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS.
We see it so often, salespeople more concerned about their “pitch” than the customer’s concerns; foolishness.
