Grandparents can experience many challenges, but also opportunities in the digital age we live in. This is the enthusiasm and passion behind Author Tove Jensen’s book, Grandparenting 2.0: Living Your Life, Leaving Your Legacy (Awesome Ways to Help Your Grandchildren). Recently, Pensjonisten, a Norwegian magazine read by about 300 000 Norwegian pensioners, featured Tove’s successful book launch celebration in Oslo.
Tove Jensen, a grandmother to five, has a wealth of experience and expertise on how to handle important issues between grandparents and grandchildren. In Grandparenting 2.0, she gave many tips and advice on how to keep up with the time and to have contact with the grandchildren.
“Digital play and free play must go hand in hand. I also raise conflicts between generations. Although we often appear to be well informed, we always have something to learn from others,” chimes the author.
Tove’s successful book launch event was held at Ris Kirke, Risbakken in Oslo earlier this month. Ten percent (10%) of the book sale goes to Save the Children Oslo (Redd Barna Oslo), a vibrant and member-controlled organization which works actively to promote children’s rights.
Congratulations Tove! Such an awesome legacy to grandparents and future grandparents!
Pensjonisten magazine is published by the Pensioners’ Association, Norway’s largest organization for retirees and has over 210,000 members. It informs about pensions, inheritance, economy, health, new products, treatment, leisure offer, traveling etc.
