Roxane Monette, a fitness coach, a personal trainer, a fitness competitor, and a mentor to many, was hailed in the blog Today’s Honoree for her passion in helping others start a personal fitness journey.
Today’s Honoree is the brainchild of L. Holloway and Derrick Haynes; the aim of which is to make a difference in the lives of others.
Roxane’s book, Fit Inside Out: A Beginner’s Guide to a Healthy Body and Mindset (WTF Is So Scary about Fitness?), explores common myths about fitness and offers help in starting a personal fitness journey for people of all ages. It is also targeted to help people who feel lost, overwhelmed, and confused about their perceived level of fitness by providing them simple guidance.
From being 50 pounds overweight to winning two third-place medals in her first bikini fitness competition, Roxane has gone through a complete lifestyle change. As a result of her journey, she began helping others achieve their personal fitness goals, serving as a leader for them to follow in her proudly laid footsteps.
In 2013, Roxane obtained her certification as a personal trainer and a pre- and post-natal fitness specialist and promptly began her professional journey by helping others succeed in the attainment of their ambitious goals. Based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Roxane welcomes hearing from anyone seeking advice on their journey to health and fitness.
