“Write a book and then you’ll be credible.” – JG Francoeur
JG Francoeur shared his entrepreneurial journey and revealed his formula of success in his recent interviewed with Neil Ball of the Entrepreneur Way, which is a program that features success stories of inspiring entrepreneurs and business owners around the world.
The show highlights fresh ideas, inspiring stories, insight into the strategies that work, and practical steps to help people get clarity for what’s next in the entrepreneur world.
Many may have not known JG’s struggle when he first started his business, and in this interview, JG shared the challenging stories of his life and his difficulties that he faced at a young age.
“I was in debt up to my eye balls,” he said.
10 years later, JG has built and sold 6 different companies.
One of the key points that JG shared when he was struggling in starting his business, was when he attended Gerry Robert’s seminar. He was blown away of the concept of writing a book.
JG thought that he had to be an authority to write a book, and he said to Gerry:
“I don’t understand. How can you write a book? You have to be an authority before you can write a book; you have to be credible to write a book!”
But Gerry said, “No, it’s the other way around. Write the book, and then you’ll be credible. Write the book, and then you’ll have authority!”
The concept completely shifted his mindset, and JG started right there and there with the materials from Gerry’s class, and wrote his first book, Answers You’re Aching to Know, and his company went from 300 to 3000 clients in 6 months – all because he was using a book as a marketing tool!
As a result of that, it motivated him to get involved with Gerry and become business partners and started Black Card Books.
Today BCB has over 126 employees all over the world and is one of the fastest growing book publishing companies in the planet right now with over a thousand titles.
